New Directions: the Reaccreditation Project:
A Self Study for the
North Central Association of Colleges and Schools

The report that the University of Wisconsin-Madison submitted to the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NCA-CIHE) was made up of two major components, one of which was intended to satisfy the requirements for accreditation, and the other of which included recommendations regarding the future of the university.

The Self Study is available only in portable document format (.pdf), which can be read using the Adobe Acrobat Reader©. (This program may be downloaded from the Adobe site for free.) This "web-publication" of the Self Study matches the January 1999 edition. Pages printed from this version look like the printed edition, allowing readers to print only those sections of the study which interest them.
