The Chancellor's Scholarship Program
The Chancellor's Scholarship Program recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of historically underrepresented students. This campuswide, merit-based program offers a variety of academic and co-curricular activities to enhance the overall quality of the collegiate experience. Application to the Chancellor's Scholarship Program also provides consideration for the merit-based Powers-Knapp Scholarship Program. Prospective scholars must apply in their senior year of high school. The application deadline is February 1, 2008.

Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program
The McNair Scholars Program provides opportunities and resources to prepare eligible undergraduate students with career interests in collegiate teaching and research to pursue graduate studies leading to a doctoral degree. The goal of this program is to increase the number of students in doctoral degree programs who are low-income and first generation undergraduates or students who come from groups underrepresented in graduate education.
