Placement into Faculty Positions
The department chair of the faculty hire may be able to offer assistance with locating opportunities for campus positions.  Dual-Career Couple funding may be available to recruit or retain a tenure-track faculty member by hiring the spouse/partner into a faculty tenure-track or tenured position, or a long-term academic staff teaching position. The department chair may request funding through his/her dean’s office.

Placement into Other Campus Positions
The Office of Human Resources lists current posting of campus positions. The department chair or search committee chair of the faculty hire may be able to offer assistance with locating opportunities for campus non-faculty positions. Networking and career resource assistance is available through the Dual-Career Couple Assistance Program sponsored by the Provost’s Office.

Placement into Positions Off-campus
Assistance with employment counseling, advising and referrals in the Madison area may be provided by an external employment agency. A partner/spouse should contact the Dual-Career Couple Assistance Program for an appointment to discuss career goals and resources before being referred to the agency.

Non-Employment Issues
The Dual-Career Couple Assistance Program is available to provide information about non-employment issues including, but not limited to, local schools, day-care, recreational programs, housing information, and cultural organizations. Contact Laurie Mayberry at 608-262-5246 or Mayberry@wisc.edu.
