Photo of student sitting on Bascom Hill The University of Wisconsin-Madison educates thousands of the state’s citizens every year by admitting some of the best and brightest students from throughout Wisconsin. Unfortunately, UW-Madison cannot accommodate all of the academically strong students who apply for admission. Now there is a program for such applicants, who are Wisconsin residents, to start at a partner college or university and finish their bachelor’s degree at UW-Madison—and hold a distinctive UW-Madison student status from the beginning.

Participating institutions include the thirteen University of Wisconsin Colleges freshman/sophomore campuses, the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, the College of the Menominee Nation, and the Liberal Arts Program at three Wisconsin Technical Colleges: Madison Area Technical College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Nicolet Area Technical College.
