Days of Listening and Discovery
Phase II – Identifying Action Steps and Activities

Monday, September 22, 2003
1:00-3:00 p.m.
Memorial Union, Great Hall

Thirst-six participants who attended the first Days of Listening and Discovery sessions in May, 2003, came together on September 22, 2003, to reflect on their DLD experience and help identify concrete action items and next steps for improving campus climate.

When asked, What was your best experience with the Days of Listening and Discovery last May? What stood out for you? and What would you like to bring forward?, the 36 participants who attended the DLD session on Monday (9/22/03) responded with comments about their best experiences with the DLD sessions.

After identifying the “top wishes,” the participants broke into small groups to develop positive statements and a list of action steps and activities to improve campus climate.
