2000/2001 GENDER PAY EQUITY REVIEW

On August 31, 1999, the deans of UW-Madison schools and colleges were asked to conduct a review to determine whether the salaries of individual female faculty members are equitable compared to comparable male faculty members.  The subsequent budget delay, coupled with the 2000-01 merit exercise and the competitive compensation exercise, requires that we extend the time frame for the completion of the gender pay equity review to allow consideration of new 2000-01 salaries.
